C2E2 Time Already?

It’s pretty amazing but time is flying again.

The new baby is about three months away. The sports store site is almost a year old. My son is close to 3.25 years old. And Chicago’s best show in almost 5 years is upon us…C2E2! And it’s only in its first year. I will in town all weekend so swing by the Square 1 Press booth with Superb Steve Hoveke much of the time. I’ll also be roaming and visiting friends, too.

SDCC 2009 is Here!

It comes every summer. I’ll be home in NYC this year. etween health and the basic need for a break, I am taking this year off. It is a grueling show as a fan, a staffer, a pro or in whatever capicity you are there in. Don’t get me wrong; there are definitely a ton of great things about the show. Number one being seeing a ton of friends who I only see face to face once a year. I’ll miss that but the break is needed. I’ll recharge and be ready for LBCC this fall and a few more shows in 2010.

A General Update…

I gotta say, it’s been a pretty ridiculous two weeks.

Between dealing with a business implosion, one of my ex employers having “lay off-ers remorse” and being upset that I work for a rival company, my son being attached at my hip, and so on it’s been a trip. I am looking forward to having a nice relaxing Father’s Day Weekend (which needs to include both SUN and BBQ) followed by getting on track for a very productive last week of June.

I’ve got a few great projects I am working one. I’ll break them down by type…

WEB DEVELOPMENT: One’s getting closer to completion of the development phase, which is sweet. The last key piece will be a database system being developed by one my partners. Two others have proposals out as well.

WRITING: I’ve wrapped a mini series treatment that’s already got an artist. Once he is ready to roll, we’ll see some pages show up here. The other major comic project had been a bit stalled the last few months due to time and health. It should be back on track next week. I’ve also got a number of different projects at different stages of development that need some attention to incubate a little bit.

That should cover it all for now. I should be back to regular posts on this site as well. Stay tuned.
